Referrals

How it works

1. A member opens the Refer tab in the widget and copies their link.
2. A friend opens the link and creates an account. The friend gets their bonus — 200 points by default.
3. When the friend's first order is paid, the member gets their reward — 500 points by default. Like order points, it waits out your pending period.

The browser remembers the referral until the friend creates an account, so they don't have to sign up straight away.

Turn referrals on and set the amounts

Referrals are one of the ways to earn: switch Refer a friend on and set the points for the referrer and for the friend. Until it's on, customers don't see a referral link.

What counts as a referral

• Self-referrals don't count.
• People who were already customers don't count.
• Each friend can only be referred once.
• If the friend's first order is cancelled while the member's reward is still pending, the reward is taken back.

Track referrals

Referrals in the app menu lists every referral: who referred whom, the status (Awaiting first order, Completed or Rejected) and the points paid.
